Ukraine's National Guard gets new vehicles

Kiev, Ukraine (UPI) May 16, 2016

The Ukrainian National Guard has received six advanced armored personnel carriers from Ukroboronprom subsidiary Kyiv Armored Plant.

Ukroboronprom provides all weapons and equipment for the country's army, according to a statement announcing delivery of the BTR-3E1D model vehicle.

The conglomerate has also spearheaded a transition to high-tech manufacturing, NATO standards and equipping the army with modern materiel.
