A new online luxury dining resource has been launched, TravelsinTaste.com, which takes visitors on a virtual culinary tour of America's finest restaurants. Unlike other dining websites, TravelsinTaste.com provides unbiased in-depth information that goes beyond standard meal analysis.

The site unveils the most popular fine-dining destinations across America's most popular and stylish cities: Las Vegas, New York, South Beach, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and the Hamptons. The site currently has over 60 restaurants listed and is continuing to expand.

As the consumer trend grows to first research restaurants before visiting them, TravelsinTaste.com gives diners a comprehensive and impartial look inside America's most popular fine dining locations. According to the National Restaurant Association, 70 percent of people state that they will first try a new food at a restaurant, and that they want more convenience, control and choices when dining out.

"As a foodie and someone who often eats out, I could not find unfiltered and comprehensive background on a restaurant before going there," said Lisa Mogensen, founder, TravelsinTaste.com. "I created TravelsinTaste.com as an easy-to-access resource for millions of like-minded restaurant enthusiasts seeking objective information that goes beyond standard reviews. We provide the 'real-deal' in fine dining."

TravelsinTaste.com looks at a restaurant's location, overall space, menu, appealing highlights and provides a virtual experience to give the diner a real feel of what to expect before ever stepping into the restaurant. Features include:

- Chef's Corner -- Take a rare journey through the kitchens of the nation's finest restaurants, including video demos and interviews with top chefs.

- Amuse Bouche -- The latest breaking news on wine, restaurant and chefs, travel, hotel and casino hot spots, news flashes, special dinners, menu changes and various dining events.

- Restaurant Compare -- Feature allowing diners to compare multiple restaurants in various locations side-by-side for easy viewing.

- Top 10 -- Want to see what other visitors to the site are checking out? The Top 10 highlights the most viewed destinations and what restaurants are all the buzz.

- Special Events -- Holidays or special occasions means there are special menus. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, stay up to date on the latest themed menus, seatings and prices.

- Travel Tools -- Allows visitors to the site to map out their culinary location, download to GPS, make reservations, see the local weather forecast, email info to a friend and share their picks through popular social networking sites.
