TAAC 2008 Unmanned Aircraft Systems Conference

The New Mexico State University UAS Technical Analysis and Applications Center (TAAC) invites you to join us at our 10th annual UAS conference to be held December 9 - 11, 2008 at the Tamaya Hyatt Regency Resort, located on the Santa Ana Pueblo, north of Albuquerque, NM.

Unclassified sessions will be offered on December 9 - 10, followed by a day of classified presentations and discussions on December 11.

The Conference Chair is Mr. Dyke Weatherington, Deputy Director, Unmanned Warfare, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) AT and L.

The conference will address topics of interest, such as airspace integration, airspace access, enabling technologies, new FAA initiatives, standards and regulations, flight areas, defense programs, homeland security, public/civil applications, training and human factors, and several classified topics (ISR, force protection, weaponization, communications, IEDs, U.S. systems vulnerabilities, and foreign systems capabilities).

US drones fly after missile strike in Pakistan: residents

US pilotless spy planes on Sunday flew over a Pakistani tribal town bordering Afghanistan just hours after a missile strike killed at least four people, residents said.
