Strombeck Properties Unveils New 225kW Solar Power System in Arcata
by Staff Writers
Arcata CA (SPX) May 03, 2012

The Solar Company and Strombeck Properties are excited to announce two brand-new SunPower solar power systems installed to power two apartment complexes, consisting of nearly 250 individual units and two community laundry areas.

The 225.4kW solar systems will generate an estimated yearly production of 315,148kWh of electricity for both apartment complexes.

The two apartment complexes located in Arcata are owned and managed by Strombeck Properties, who have several commercial and residential properties in Eureka and Arcata and have been in business for over 30 years. The solar systems are sized to eliminate 100% of the current electrical bill.

Steve Strombeck, owner of Strombeck Properties, is very happy with the solar installation as this is an investment that, over time, will pay for itself and remain beneficial for the life of the system.

"We are extremely grateful for the chance to work with The Solar Company. Through this project, we have been able to start generating our own energy, contribute to the health of the planet, and be a part of the thriving and exceedingly beneficial solar industry."
