SpinLaunch has closed 30 million in funding to accelerate development and commercialization of Meridian Space, its low-earth orbit satellite broadband constellation. The round includes new capital from existing investors led by ATW Partners, along with the previously announced strategic investment from Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace.

The company is targeting its first customer link in the second half of 2026 while ramping go-to-market activity. Management cites growing demand for a cost-efficient, open-architecture LEO satcom system designed for flexibility, integration, and long-term customer value.

"From technical milestones to collaboration with early adopters, the continued backing of insiders and partners like Kongsberg underscores the credibility of our approach and the progress we've made."

As part of this phase, SpinLaunch completed full-scale testing of its proprietary multi-band reconfigurable reflectarray antenna, described as a compact, energy-efficient, and scalable alternative to conventional satellite antennas, and a key enabler of the constellation's ultra-low capex design.

"Validating our reconfigurable reflectarray antenna through full-scale testing confirms we can deliver multi-band capability without the cost and complexity of traditional designs," said David Wrenn, Chief Innovation Officer at SpinLaunch. "This is a critical step toward the development of the Meridian Space constellation and achieving both our technical and operational objectives."
