South Korea, Saudi Arabia to Pen Nuclear Cooperation Agreement

South Korea and Saudi Arabia will sign an agreement on nuclear cooperation.

The nuclear cooperation agreement will be signed during a visit by South Korean President Park Geun-Hye which began yesterday, a diplomat reported.

The framework agreement will cover technical cooperation, research and development plus the exchange of personnel within the the nuclear sphere, Jungho Lee, head of the political section at Seoul's embassy, told AFP.

The agreement would be made between King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy and South Korea's science, ICT and future planning ministry, he told AFP.

Jungho Lee revealed several more economic agreements are likely to be concluded between the two countries in the near future.
