Soltecture produces not only high efficiency thin-film modules but also ready-to-install systems, which can be easily applied to building facades and rooftops.

Forming a relationship with altPOWER, a New York-based company, is a logical step: altPOWER has earned a reputation as the leading building integrated photovoltaic provider.

altPOWER's BIPV projects in New York City include The Helena and Battery Park City's Solaire, TriBeCa Green, Visionare, Riverhouse, PS276 and many others.

Anthony O. Pereira, altPOWER's President and CEO, says, "We are glad to be working with Soltecture to develop BIPV projects in the US. The Soltecture product line is appealing and will help the US market for BIPV, break down some of the traditional technical barriers to market growth."

Boris von Bormann, Soltecture's Director of Sales for North America, says, "This cooperation signifies a very important step for us that will allow a natural symbiosis between the leading BIPV manufacturer, Soltecture, and one of the best installers and integrators: altPOWER."
