Sidus Space, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIDU), known for its innovative Space and Data-as-a-Service satellite solutions, has announced the launch of its Mission Control Center (MCC), a new addition aimed at enriching its Space-Based Data Solutions segment. This initiative aligns with Sidus' commitment to expanding its revenue streams by catering to commercial enterprises.

Operating under four key divisions-Space and Defense Hardware Manufacturing, Satellite Manufacturing and Payload Integration, Space-Based Data Solutions, and AI/ML Products and Services-Sidus now offers an essential service designed to oversee and assist spacecraft missions. This offering underscores the company's versatility in delivering comprehensive space mission solutions.

The MCC is adept at managing the entirety of a space mission's operational needs, ensuring constant oversight from launch through to the completion of the mission. With a dedicated MCC Team operational around the clock, Sidus guarantees uninterrupted supervision, focusing on satellite health, operational testing, and risk management to secure mission success. The center is equipped to monitor critical mission parameters such as propulsion, temperature, on-board computing systems, and payload integrity. Furthermore, it ensures continuous communication with the spacecraft, leveraging Sidus' global network of ground stations for data and image transmission back to Earth. The MCC's capacity to scale its services from single spacecraft to entire satellite constellations offers a valuable resource for satellite operators lacking in-house mission control facilities.

Carol Craig, CEO of Sidus Space, expressed enthusiasm about the MCC's introduction, highlighting its potential to address a gap in the space services market and to enhance shareholder value through this additional revenue source.
