Samsung Galaxy 4S -- half smartphone, half camera

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is half smartphone and half camera and the most powerful hybrid on the market, the South Korean electronics giant said.

The Galaxy S4 has a 4.3-inch qHD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage memory and a 1.9-megapixel camera, Mashable.com reported Wednesday.

On its flip side, the Galaxy S4 is a fully operational camera, with a 16-megapixel sensor and 10x optical zoom, Mashable.com said. It also has an optical image stabilizer, as well as Samsung's "Smart Mode" that automatically selects the best settings for photos.

The hybrid also has WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, among other goodies, and is powered by Android 4.2.

The one possible knock could be its size; the S4's dimensions -- 125.5 x 63.5 x 15.4 mm -- make it bulkier than most high-end smartphones on the market, Mashable.com said.

Samsung hasn't announced pricing for the model.
