Russia to buy 90 brand-new Su-35S fighters

By 2020, the Russian Air Force is to procure some 90 cutting-edge super-maneuverable Su-35S fighter jets, Air force spokesman Vladimir Drik told Ria-Novosti today.

The Su-35S is a highly modernized version of the Su-27SM3 aircraft, which will replace the world-famous Su-27 planes, as well as the bulk of its modifications now deployed with the Russian air fleet, he said.
