Raytheon Delivers First Advanced SUV-Based Radiation Detection System

 Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems delivered the first advanced sports utility vehicle-based radiation detection system to the Department of Homeland Security's Domestic Nuclear Detection Office. The successful delivery of this system will allow DNDO to operate in urban environments and will enhance border security and national defense by preventing the smuggling of nuclear materials through ports of entry.

"This is a tremendous result by our Raytheon-led team in a very rapid response to an urgent and critical homeland security need," said Mary Petryszyn, vice president of Civil Security and Response Programs. "We are proud to support the Department of Homeland Security's mission of protecting America."

Northrop Grumman Robots Tackle Security At The Superbowl

 Northrop Grumman has provided technical support, repairs, and service for Remotec-produced robots that were used to bolster security during the match-up between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
