Solarpraxis AG will host its second conference series focusing exclusively on large-scale solar power plants. The conference will provide essential information for decision makers striving to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest technologies, markets and industry developments.

The conference will feature: Julia Hamm, Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA), speaking about Utility Engagement in the Solar Marketplace and Randy Wu, First Solar, Inc., speaking about Thin Film Technology.

A panel including industry professionals Shannon Eddy (Large-scale Solar Association (LSA)), Greg Jenner (Stoel Rivers LLP), Greg Sheppard (iSuppli Corporation), Rudy Perez (Southern California Edison), Patricia Lightburn (Ontario Power Authority) and John Lushetsky (U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)), will discuss the best ways to develop the North American PV Market.

Klaus Kiefer of the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems referred to last year's conference as, "a highly successful conference with an excellent mix of topics. In particular, the technical sessions contained very interesting content and brought together the most crucial issues for photovoltaic power plant construction."

This year's conference promises to be just as interesting, and will discuss important topics such as, Planning and Building, Financing and Bankability, Governmental Incentives and Financial Assistance, Legal and Insurance Matters, Inverters and Grid Connectivity, and Plant Operation.

The conference will conclude with a Plenary Session and eclareon workshop. For more information about the program or to register, please visit here.
