NovaWurks has announced its selection by the Space Development Agency (SDA) for participation in the Hybrid Acquisition for Proliferated LEO (HALO) pool. Through this program, NovaWurks will collaborate directly with the SDA, deploying its specialized spacecraft architecture in upcoming SDA mission profiles.

As a prime contractor, NovaWurks offers comprehensive mission support services, guiding clients from initial concept stages through to launch and operational success. NovaWurks' adaptable architecture employs SLEGO building blocks, an innovative and scalable technology designed to support a range of payload types and sizes with economic and rapid deployment.

The modular SLEGO blocks are suited for all orbital types and feature autonomous, resilient, and self-repairing capabilities, enabling mass production and versatile deployment.

"SDA is proud to welcome 19 vendors into the first-ever HALO pool," said SDA Director Derek Tournear. "This creative award solution enables SDA to quickly compete, build, and fly demonstration missions to burn down risk for the future of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. We also hope, through the HALO pool, to build a broader base of vendors that can compete for work on operational layers of future tranches."

Jeffrey Mackay, CEO of NovaWurks, added, "HALO provides opportunity for non-traditional defense contractors to deliver innovative capabilities to our warfighting forces. NovaWurks next-generation space capabilities make the SLEGO architecture the right choice for the contested space domain."
