Burbank CA (SPX) Mar 10, 2008 Media One Direct will produce a promotional video and user tutorials for the new V7 line of GPS portable navigation devices, the exclusive house brand for Ingram Micro. The promo and tutorials are for the V7 NAV 730 and the V7 NAV 740, a new line of GPS portable navigation devices. The promo will play on the V7 at major retail stores to allow consumers to watch the features of the device at the point of sale, according to Rich Pulin, chief development officer of production for Media One Direct. "One of our primary goals is to create popular original programming for emerging markets such as IPTV and other mobile devices. Media One Direct was chosen to develop and produce the promo and tutorials for Ingram Micro because our production staff at Illusion Digital Studio has years of experience developing and producing this type of content," said Charles Overton, president and managing director of Media One Direct. The V7 navigation system is more than just a handheld global positioning device, it is a personal travel planner and full-featured portable multimedia player supporting the most popular picture, music, and video formats. "We look forward to working with Media One Direct to provide our customers a user friendly tutorial and a unique choice of entertaining programming for V7 entertainment," said Jeffrey Friederichs, senior manager for global marketing and North American sales for Ingram Micro's global private label division.
