Momentus Inc. (NASDAQ: MNTS) has announced a significant contract with SpaceX to secure a port on the Transporter-12 mission, anticipated to launch no earlier than October 2024.

This new development solidifies Momentus' plans to participate in three missions with SpaceX in 2024. These missions include all Transporter rideshare missions scheduled for the coming year: Transporter-10 in January, Transporter-11 in June, and Transporter-12 in October.

Chris Kinman, Momentus Chief Commercial Officer, expressed his satisfaction with the planned launch schedule. "This launch schedule enables us to meet the anticipated demand for our services," Kinman stated. He highlighted that the company's mission management and integration services are just the beginning of what Momentus can offer, with a focus on speed, affordability, and flexibility for their customers.

In less than a year, Momentus has achieved flight heritage with three missions in orbit, a key criterion customers consider when choosing a partner to transport their satellites and other payloads to specific orbits.
