Guardian Technology has been named the newest telematics provider for Carrier Transicold's North American single and multi-temp truck and trailer units. Guardian Technology's system, the ReeferGuard, offers a fully integrated monitoring solution that includes:

- Real-time information including temperature, location, speed and direction

- Full system monitoring of Carrier Transicold units, including all operational and maintenance data

- 24/7 monitoring and notification whether unit is tethered or untethered.

- Immediate automated notification of all critical system alarms via phone and/or email

- On-Guard solar cell technology to ensure each unit is monitored 24/7/365 without draining unit battery life

- Proprietary full web-enabled tracking with the latest in satellite imagery and aerial photography at trackmyworld.com

- An unmatched per-unit cost of $799 in single unit quantities

"ReeferGuard represents the first monitoring system for the refrigeration industry at a price point that makes this technology affordable for all road fleet companies," said Mike Hohl, Director of Sales for Guardian Technology. "Where price has been a significant barrier to investing in monitoring systems, ReeferGuard makes it possible to have unprecedented supply chain control of assets at an affordable price."

The ReeferGuard unit is installed directly to the Carrier refrigeration system, interfacing with the reefer's controller in a simple plug-and-play set-up.
