CACI International reports it has completed its $550 million acquisition of L-3 National Security Solutions.

Acquisition of NSS, with the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. intelligence agencies among its clients, significantly expands CACI's growth opportunities in the Enterprise IT, Intelligence Services, and other market areas, it said.

"CACI's acquisition of National Security Solutions is of great strategic value to our company," said Ken Asbury, CACI president and chief executive officer. "Our collective strengths and capabilities will enhance CACI's pursuit of higher value opportunities, provide a significant competitive advantage in pursuing and priming larger opportunities, and give us outstanding credentials to compete for and win next-generation IT programs across the federal marketplace."

CACI paid about $550 million for outstanding shares of NSS.

CACI is an information solutions and services provider in support of national security programs.
