No longer do drivers need to worry about finding reliable biodiesel when driving through the Western U.S. From Santa Fe, New Mexico to Wenatchee, Washington, drivers can get peace of mind with increasingly available Blue Sun Fusion B20 fuel. "Blue Sun Fusion exceeds all ASTM specifications, so drivers know they have the highest quality fuel available," said Michael Miller, Blue Sun President and COO.

"Our Fusion fuel outperforms other B20 fuels on the market because our superior quality ensures the fuel is the cleanest on the market."

Whether driving a diesel truck or the family car, biodiesel represents a lower-emissions option with no loss of power, an option more and more people are eager to take.

Retailers carry Blue Sun Biodiesel as both a commitment to the environment and to give their customers what they want.

"We felt selling biodiesel was one small thing we could do for the environment, even if we might lose some business. But we didn't lose business, we gained some. It ended up being a good financial decision, though it started as an environmental decision," said Blue Sun Fusion retailer, Cheryl Loggins.

Her station, The Catherine Store in Carbondale, Colorado, has been selling Blue Sun's Fusion for four years. "I've had some customers say they come here just because we sell biodiesel."

The newest retailer offering Blue Sun is the Nambe Falls Travel Center north of Santa Fe, NM, serviced by Alta Fuels, LLC, Blue Sun's exclusive distributor in that market.

The process of filling up with biodiesel is no different than with traditional diesel. According to the National Biodiesel Board, any diesel engine can run blends up to 20 percent biodiesel without modification and without voiding manufacturer warranties. With Blue Sun Fusion specifically, drivers have benefited from up to a seven percent increase in fuel economy and increased lubricity, which reduces engine wear.

Blue Sun Fusion's warranty provides added peace of mind. For drivers buying from any authorized retailer, if Blue Sun's fuel is proven to be the direct cause of damage to OEM-warranted fuel system materials, they will replace the damaged material at no cost to the driver.

Using Blue Sun Fusion B20 fuel, compared to regular petroleum diesel, reduces carbon monoxide 24%, hydrocarbons 29%, and nitrogen oxides 4%, according to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Hydrocarbons and particulates have been shown to cause asthma, lung cancer and chronic respiratory symptoms.

While biodiesel technology is gaining popularity with oil conglomerates and national restaurant chains, many smaller companies still find mid-scale biodiesel production out of their reach. For those who are serious about entering the industry, but don't have the serious capital investment usually required, now there is another option.
