Denmark halts Australian toxic waste shipmentCopenhagen (AFP) Dec 2, 2010 The Danish government Thursday postponed a plan to accept a shipment of Australian toxic waste for disposal, following pressure from the centre-left opposition. Environment Minister Karen Ellemann said the decision was made to allay public fears.
