Israel asks U.S. for more precision bombs

Amid growing fears of a new Middle Eastern war, Israel's defense ministry has asked Washington for more JDAM precision-guided bombs for its air force, the Haaretz daily reports. The ministry has also asked the Pentagon to expand the U.S. arsenal pre-positioned in the Jewish state in December 2009 so that Israeli forces can access the weapons in an emergency, the liberal newspaper reported Tuesday. China To Launch Fourth Orbiter For Global Satellite Navigation Network
Xichang, China (XNA) Jun 02, 2010
China is to launch its fourth orbiter into space as a part of its indigenous satellite navigation and positioning network known as Beidou, or Compass system. A woman hit by a car while walking on a route provided by Google's online mapping service is suing the Internet colossus for not recommending a safer path.
