Russia And US To Create First Joint Satellite Navigation Venture
Moscow, Russia (RIA Novosti) Jun 01, 2010
The Russian Space Systems corporation and the U.S. Trimble Navigation Group have signed an agreement to create a joint satellite navigation venture in Russia, the Russian company has said. Each of the companies will hold a 50% stake in the Rusnavgeoset company, which will produce Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) geodetic network infrastructure systems, a statement posted on Russian Space Systems' website said. Lockheed To Supply VINASAT-2 For Vietnam

Lockheed Martin has won a contract by Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) of Vietnam to build the VINASAT-2 satellite. In-orbit delivery is slated for the second quarter of 2012. Financial terms were not disclosed.
