SAASM (Selective Availability Anti-Spoof Module) is the new generation of military GPS navigation and timing functionality, enhancing the entire GPS infrastructure, covering user equipment security, crypto key management, and operational capabilities to meet the challenges of today's tactical warfare scenarios. It also has applications in various communications networks that use GPS for synchronization.

Zyfer is proud to be an approved Host Applications Equipment (HAE) developer, imbedding GPS SAASM functionalities into its time/frequency generation and synchronization systems. Zyfer's systems provide improved electronic data link security and simplify the security management process for a host of communications and command/control terminal applications.

The government mandates this technology to be implemented as of October 2002. In addition, many existing communications networks and command/control terminals require a SAASM-technology upgrade. Zyfer is ready to support the U.S. Government and its allies.
